At Ander Group, we love to make things simple. We do believe that even the most specialist subjects should be accessible by everyone. We call it “simplexity:” the magic trick through which we discover a simple presentation for a complex reality.
This is what we did for PCR Online: we provided a new digital identity to an organization that serves cardiovascular medicine community throughout Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
PCR Online, the network ideated by and for the Interventional Cardiovascular Community, helps practitioners share their knowledge, experience, and expertise through courses, journals, textbooks, training and, last but not least, events. A plenty of stuff, you might think.
– Imagine an organization that plans and runs multiple events every single year. These events, as conferences, include themselves a multitude of workshops and options. Would you suppose that you need to create a website for every event?
Off course not. The identity of a website structured on microsites make things simple. Every event is a mini websites itselfs, that provides all information participants may need.
Our contribution started with the house style – fonts, colors, icons – designed to provide a single visual personality for PCR’s diverse activities.
Imagine a website that talks about different parts of an organization. Parts with different variable needs, different programs, different events. You would expect clarity, universal approach, simplicity. On PCRonline, at a glance, it’s easy to see how different events coexist in the same website.
A set of microsites is our secret. The unified website structure allows users to quickly find and note the information specific to them. Drawing together a global community, PCR’s new digital presence combines versatile functionality and a unique, engaging identity.
As we also want our approach to be sustainable, we provided a Kit of Parts that easily allows future modification and integration of parts in the website. This is our approach to circular economy.
